Forbes Shire Mayor Phyllis Miller says if the predictions by the Bureau of Meteorology are accurate, the town could be seeing its worst flood since 1952.
“In comparison to last year, it’s certainly going to be worse if the predictions are right,” Phyllis Miller told Sky News Australia.
“They’ve been fairly accurate this time with our flooding.
“We have prepared for the very worst, and we’re hoping for the very best.”
