During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, VST ECS Phils, Inc. hosted a virtual forum to discuss the impact of COVID-19 on businesses and organizations, as well as how industries coped with the difficult times.
Rapid changes were brought about in how people work, shop, connect, conduct business, access content, and create it as a result of the pandemic. Unfortunately, there was also an increase in cyberattacks. Modernized IT infrastructure is necessary in light of these unanticipated changes.
The forum committed to raising understanding of current events and how the pandemic affects business groups in August 2020.
The following year, VST ECS hosted the CXO Innovation Summit 2021, which appears to be the largest virtual gathering of tech brands and IT leaders, in December to help participants navigate the future of digital business. Since 2018, the event has served as a vital meeting place for technology providers and key IT decision makers to share insights, industry trends, and technological updates.
Going back in 2019, the CXO Innovation Summit was held prior to and without the unsuspecting threat of a pandemic at the Shangri-La Resort in Boracay. Jimmy Go, President and CEO of VST ECS, founded the CXO Innovation Summit with the goal of assisting organizations in benefiting from technological advances through the sharing of insights, best practices, and industry trends.
Against the backdrop of the massive explosion and expansion of data, CXO Innovation Summit also aims to create a shared understanding of how to organize and unlock the value of data using available and proven technologies.
CXO Innovation Summit has served as a crucial forum for IT vendors and significant IT decision-makers to share knowledge, market trends, and technological advancements.
2022 brought new hope and possibilities as the world slowly emerges fCOVID-19shadows of COVID-19, and this was regarded as an opportunity to bring back the CXO Innovation Summit, once again on a physical venue.
“It’s been over 3 years since we had our last CXO Innovation Summit due to the pandemic. We had 2 years of virtual event. I hope that the pandemic is over since we are all excited with face-to-face events,” said Go in his welcome keynote speech at the opening of CXO Innovation Summit 2022 as they return this year in Shangri-La Resort, Boracay.
The summit began on November 22 up to November 25. The four-day summit celebrated the theme “Modernization in the Era of Digital Economy” with keynotes from C-Level and tech leaders representing ORACLE, Trend Micro, CISCO, HUAWEI, Adobe, VMWare, Fortinet, Dell Technologies, YugabyteDB, Aruba, APC, Lenovo, IBM, HPE, and Microsoft.
“Our last CXO face-to-face was in October 2019, with discussions centered towards Data Driven Organizations. At the height of the pandemic, technology has been pivotal to keeping businesses agile, staying connected with colleagues, friends, and families. Also enabling online education, supporting remote work force, and enabling companies to operate digitally,” continue Go inside the jam-packed Sagana Ballroom.
During the pandemic, there was a significant shift in IT prioritization, requiring organizations to rebalance technology spending and accelerate IT investment plans. As digital adoption accelerates, new opportunities emerge, but it also reveals vulnerabilities.
And this opens as an opportunity for CXO Innovation Summit 2022 as an ideal venue to discuss IT infrastructure, modernization, and digital transformation, as well as for CXO and IT leaders to collaborate, engage, and share their experiences and successes on their journey to digitization.
